We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer 10+ years of experience to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade applications supporting Commercial Credit Risk Rating systems. This role will focus on building a robust abstraction layer between existing internal applications and a cloud-hosted, vendor-managed Risk Rating platform.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior developer with strong architectural judgment, deep expertise in .NET Core, microservices, APIs, and databases, and experience working in regulated or financial environments. This role involves full lifecycle ownership, technical leadership, and close collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core, C#, and MVC architecture.
Build scalable microservices and APIs using RESTful and SOAP-based integrations.
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms and ensure secure data exchange.
Design and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server,T SQL and Postgres.
Ensure code quality through TDD, automated testing, code reviews, and performance testing.
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.
Troubleshoot, enhance, and support production applications following established change management processes.
Architecture & Leadership
Participate in and influence architectural decisions, standards, and design patterns.
Lead technical discussions and guide solution design across teams.
Review vendor and internal deliverables to ensure alignment with architectural and security standards.
Mentor and coach less experienced engineers; provide technical guidance without direct supervision.
Collaboration & Compliance
Work closely with business partners, architects, QA, security, and compliance teams.
Ensure applications comply with bank policies, SDLC standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance validation activities.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field and 7+ years of software development experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise application development.
5+ years of experience with .NET Core, C#, Web APIs, and microservices architecture.
5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools, Windows Server, and relational databases.
