Mechanical Engineer Aerospace / Missile Systems

Our customer is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and testing of complex mechanical systems and components for missile system products. This role involves hands-on engineering work across mechanical design, structural analysis, and testing, using advanced CAD and engineering tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical design, analysis, development, and testing of materials, structural components, and system elements

• Create and modify mechanical CAD designs (Siemens NX preferred)

• Apply GD&T principles to designs

• Adapt and improve proven legacy designs while exploring creative engineering solutions

• Develop and manage test programs, including test article fabrication and documentation

• Communicate project status and results through reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in a STEM field with 2+ years of related engineering experience or
  Master s degree in STEM with 1+ year of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

• Experience with mechanical integration, preferably in aerospace

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience Level:

• Open to candidates with approximately 3 15 years of experience
