Job Title: Braze Developer

Duration: 2 Months Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Braze Developer for a short-term contract to support the implementation, optimization, and execution of customer engagement campaigns using Braze.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Braze Canvas, messaging channels, and data integrations, and can work independently to deliver high-quality lifecycle and promotional campaigns within tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and launch campaigns in Braze across channels (email, push, in-app messages, SMS, webhooks).
• Develop and maintain Canvas flows for lifecycle, onboarding, retention, and re-engagement use cases.
• Implement personalization and dynamic content using Liquid.
• Configure user attributes, events, and custom data to support targeting and segmentation.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and data teams to translate requirements into Braze solutions.
• Ensure proper QA, testing, and troubleshooting of campaigns and user journeys.
• Optimize campaign performance using Braze analytics and insights.
• Support integrations with data sources (e.g., CDPs, APIs, data warehouses) as needed.
• Document setups, processes, and best practices for handoff at the end of the contract.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience working with Braze (minimum 1 2 years preferred).
• Strong experience with Braze Canvas, segmentation, and campaign orchestration.
• Proficiency with Liquid templating.
• Experience with at least one messaging channel: email, push, in-app, or SMS.
• Understanding of event-based marketing and user lifecycle concepts.
• Ability to work independently and deliver within a short contract timeframe.
• Strong attention to detail and QA best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating Braze with CDPs (e.g., Segment, mParticle).
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email templates.
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, or data pipelines.
• Experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
