Title : Lead Full Stack Developer with Java and Angular
Location : Remote
IRIS experience is nice to have. Going to be fully remote, but ideal candidate is located in NC
Interview Process: First: 30-minutes with Rita (Potentially remove this step). Second: 60-minute technical interview with Ryan Eastman and his team.
About the Position / Current Initiatives:
This is a brand new project to rebuild and modernize the LIMS system. The position will report to Rita with a dotted line to Ryan Eastman, who will be the primary technical lead. The role involves creating the base application that all the other pieces will bolt onto.
About the Team Structure + Culture:
The entire team is remote, with an ideal candidate being in NC. The team reports to Rita with connections to other groups like Test Faster, SIS, and LIS.
Position Summary:
This role is a key position in a brand new project aimed at rebuilding and modernizing the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The selected candidate will report to Rita with a dotted line to Ryan Eastman, the primary technical lead. The developer will be responsible for creating the base application that all other components will integrate into. The project is critical to the organization's strategic initiatives and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fully remote capacity.
Mandatory Skills :
- Minimum 5-7 years experience as a full stack developer with Java and Angular
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
- Experience with AWS
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Nice to have :
- Health care industry experience
- Iris for Health experience
Responsibilities :
- Lead the development of a new base application for LIMS
- Collaborate with remote team members in EST hours
- Utilize AWS to enhance application performance and scalability
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
