The technician is responsible for safely operating and monitoring chemical process equipment, including reactors, hight-tempature systems, vacuum systems and pressure vessels. This role supports daily production by following SOP s, maintaining safe operating conditions, completing documentation, and assisting in ensuring product quality, and reliable plant performance.


  • Operate and monitor chemical reactors, high-temperature equipment, vacuum systems, pumps, and pressure vessels.
  • Perform startup, shutdown, charging, discharging, sampling, and routine process checks.
  • Follow SOPs, batch records, safety procedures, and environmental requirements at all times.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and report process upsets, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions.
  • Record operating data, production logs, and inspection results accurately.
  • Handle raw materials and finished products safely and in compliance with plant procedures.
  • Support housekeeping, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Works closely with maintenance, quality, and supervisory personnel to meet production goals.
  • Identify, promote and implement opportunities for process improvement and organizational efficiencies.

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a chemical plant, process manufacturin, or similar industrical environment
  • Experience with chemical reactors, high-tempature operations, vacuum applications, and pressure vessels
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow details work instructions
  • Forklift and respirator experience are a plus
  • Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
