DAS Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Knoxville, TN (Travel required, including overnight stays)

On-Call: Rotation every 6-8 weeks
Position OverviewWe are seeking an
experienced
DAS Maintenance Technician to
support distributed antenna systems across commercial buildings, education
campuses, stadiums, hospitals, and public-safety environments. This role
focuses heavily on day-2 support-including system maintenance, monitoring,
troubleshooting, testing, and RMA activities-for both new and legacy DAS
networks.
The position is
based in the Richmond, VA market, with regular travel and overnight stays. Work
may include new installations, existing campus upgrades, fiber/coax
maintenance, public-safety DAS support, and other low-voltage system
activities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform DAS maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and system testing.
- Conduct PIM/Sweep testing, OTDR, fiber testing, and fiber scoping.
- Complete day-2 activities following system turn-up, including break/fix and warranty support.
- Execute RMA tasks and long-term maintenance on legacy DAS systems.
- Support installation and integration of DAS, ODAS/IDAS, and low-voltage infrastructure.
- Work independently in field environments with a high level of reliability and accountability.
- Participate in an on-call rotation every 6-8 weeks.
- Travel for up to four nights at a time as needed (company vehicle provided; hotels covered; $65/day per diem).
Required Experience & Skills- 2-4 years of hands-on DAS experience (installation, integration, day-2 support, and maintenance).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in DAS environments, including use of:
- Fluke and AFL test equipment
- OTDR testing
- PIM/Sweep testing
- Fiber testing
- Experience with fiber scoping and single-mode fiber splicing.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
- OEM familiarity with at least some of the following:

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
