Manager, Emerging Technology Operations

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in design and, upon approval, execute a long-term technology roadmap that aligns the organization's mission, goals and values.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Emerging Technology team, overseeing their collective projects to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with strategic objectives by translating strategic goals into actionable project plans, managing schedules, and cultivating a high-performing team.
- Provide detailed project updates, timelines, resource coordination, and guidance to team members, and escalate significant issues with proposed solutions as appropriate.
- Maintain robust cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations for all emerging technology initiatives.
- Supervise the provision of Tier 3 support for operationalized solutions and in-service the Technical Operations Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams for support and maintenance to ensure adequate customer support.
- Ensure adequate backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and regularly reviewed and maintained.
- Oversee the team's responsibilities in analyzing requirements, researching solutions, supporting the Request for Proposal (RFP)/selection processes, and developing, implementing, and documenting technical solutions, ensuring all deliverables meet ETECH (needs to be defined before acronym is used) standards of quality and integrity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders, internal experts, external vendors, and other IT teams to integrate knowledge and ensure solutions meet project requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Frequent travel (approximately 30%-40%) may be required within California locations to support in-person implementation, training, and services as needed by the team.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Systems Technology, Engineering, or Information Systems, or Associates Degree plus 5 years of related work experience
- 7-10+ years of experience working in a Technical Business (System) Analyst, IT Project/Program/Portfolio Management, or Application/Solution Implementation role
- 3-5+ years of experience working in a leadership position managing technical resources
- Strong oversight/management skills and several years of experience orchestrating and leading end-to-end projects, ranging from project plan design, coordination, and implementation as well as people, operations, vendor, and budget management.
- Ability to analyze business and technical requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, and lead successful implementations of emerging technologies.
- Demonstrate skills in project plan design and implementation, directing projects, coordinating the work of operational teams, and managing project budgets.
- Skilled in developing, managing, and maintaining comprehensive technical and end-user documentation to support solutions and ensure knowledge transfer.
- Proven track record of developing, implementing, and managing innovative solutions and emerging technologies, including developing and maintaining comprehensive technical & business documentation to support solutions implementations & "go-live", ensure knowledge transfer, and drive end-user adoption.
- Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations live via online or virtual mediums and to effectively build relationships with customers, executive management, and other stakeholders through positive interaction, problem identification, and resolution.

- Demonstrated time management and priority-setting skills; ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced & dynamic environment, prioritize responsibilities, and organize workload to ensure that timeframes are met and the work is completed within deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to define, develop, and analyze performance measures and metrics, such as KPIs and SLAs.
- Demonstrate skills with web development, script writing, database management, SQL reporting services, report writing, flow charting, and technical documentation.
- Demonstrate skills with learning management systems, portals, CRM systems, financial, billing, and clinical systems
- Ability to perform basic programming, develop BI dashboards, and business objects, and
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and reporting systems, including SQL reporting tools, database design, and management
- Well-verse with API integrations, Web Development, and SaaS/Cloud-based solutions.
- Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, executive management, and other stakeholders through positive interaction, problem identification, and resolution.
- Ability to effectively manage project deadlines and escalate issues as appropriate.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a technical role in the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with application development using .NET and JavaScript programming
