Automation Validation Engineers

Automation Validation Engineers for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Develop, design, execute, update, and implement equipment protocols, scripts, process flow diagrams, autonomy software systems, test plans and cases for functional, safety and performance testing. Conduct and coordinate onboard system validation to integrate with machine systems, autonomy sub system areas, and infrastructure areas (calibration, simulation, analytics, ML development pipelines). Analyze test and geospatial data, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues. Write test and technical reports, validate and calibrate localization subsystems for positioning of autonomous haul trucks. Ensure accuracy, and review customer requirements, radar, vision systems to support real-time perception, path planning algorithms, terrain topography, elevation models, obstacle maps, location, positioning, route-planning functionalities, field validation testing, surveying haul routes, sensor integration, digital maps, autonomy software models, spatial accuracy, GPS signal integrity, topographic models, loading zones, dumping areas for autonomous operation, total stations, drone-based survey equipment, survey methodologies, validation criteria, system transformation, safety, risks, interfaces, machine configuration, fault reporting, diagnostics, load files, compliance, regulations, resolutions, audits. Confer with teams, log field survey and validation test data, analyze performance metrics, document anomalies. 40 hrs/wk Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or a related field, and one (1) year of experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Engineer, or related occupation. Must have at least one (1) year of experience performing execution, testing, validation; developing scripts, test plans, test cases; working with autonomy software, autonomous trucks, autonomous operations; reviewing safety, algorithms, models, risks, interfaces, machine configuration, fault reporting, diagnostics, load files; using LIDAR, Python, oscilloscopes, Multimeters, GPS, ECM, Azure DevOps, Linux, radars. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $134,203 to $134,250 /yr.
