Position: Power BI Consultant

Location: Jersey City, NJ (100% Onsite)

Job Type: Contract Role - W2 Role

Job Description:

We are looking for a Power BI Consultant on contract to work onsite at a client location in New Jersey. The consultant will deliver end-to-end Power BI reporting and analytics solutions and work closely with business stakeholders. Microsoft Power BI certification is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather business and reporting requirements from client stakeholders

Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports

Build optimized data models and write advanced DAX

Integrate Power BI with SQL, Excel, Azure, and other data sources

Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service

Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and governance standards

Optimize report performance and resolve production issues

Provide user support and documentation

Required Skills:

8+ years hands-on Power BI development

Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling

Solid SQL experience

Experience with Power BI Service, Gateways, and Workspaces

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Must be willing to work onsite in New Jersey

Mandatory Certification:

Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
