Project Portfolio Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Portfolio Manager in Lake Mary, FL.

Overview:
The Project Portfolio Manager is responsible for leading the project management function, ensuring projects are strategically aligned with organizational objectives and delivered efficiently. This role provides leadership to the project management team, standardizes project delivery practices, and partners closely with Program Development and IT to manage the enterprise project roadmap.

What You Can Expect in This Role:
* Lead and manage a team of Project Managers
* Strategically staff the project management team to support company objectives
* Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing development for project management staff
* Centralize, standardize, and maintain project management processes and methodologies
* Develop and maintain project management tools to support project analysis and execution
* Continuously evaluate and challenge current processes to drive innovation and efficiency
* Navigate cross-functional constraints to maximize project delivery and outcomes
* Partner with the Program Development team and IT to establish and maintain the enterprise project roadmap
* Manage third-party vendor relationships related to project delivery
* Collaborate with Program Development on project intake, prioritization, and sequencing
* Provide executive-level oversight of active projects to ensure objectives, timelines, and outcomes are met
* Identify and escalate project risks and roadmap challenges to the Director of Project and Agile Excellence
* Participate directly in project management activities when needed to support company initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
* Proven experience as an IT Project Manager
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
* Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
