Boeing Engineering & Technology Innovation (BTI) is seeking a motivated Product Support Engineering Manager to lead a team within the Product Support Engineering function. In this role, you will provide first-line management to engineers working on a variety of projects that support both program and functional needs. Your leadership will be essential in driving design practices, technical reviews, and continuous improvement efforts that uphold engineering quality and operational excellence.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Product Support and Systems Engineers focused on delivering enterprise-level engineering solutions and process improvements
  • Provide first-line management including coaching, development, and performance oversight for Product Support Engineering resources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering tools and digital solutions that enhance product support capabilities
  • Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for process and tool enhancements aligned with broader organizational goals
  • Support talent acquisition, training, and team transitions to meet evolving organizational needs
  • Support the Functional Chief Engineer on emergent initiatives as needs arise
  • Serve as a liaison between Product Support Engineering and other engineering functions to ensure alignment and cohesive execution of enterprise initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, risk management, and technical quality within the product support domain
  • Partner with leadership across Boeing to foster collaboration and support digital transformation efforts

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Internal candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace Engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience in at least one of the following Integrated Product Support elements: Product Support Management, Supply Support, Maintenance Planning and Management, Technical Data, Support Equipment, Sustaining Engineering, or Design for Maintainability/Supportability
  • Experience applying Systems Engineering principles in aerospace industries
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and manage stakeholders
  • Demonstrated adaptability and ability to manage change quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with risk management and engineering process improvement
  • Familiarity with digital enterprise tools, model-based engineering, and product lifecycle management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
