Job Title: Public Health Program Director
Location: Nashville, TN Hybrid
Duration: 10 Months
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, 37.5 hrs/week

Hybrid role requiring the first day onsite in Nashville and at least monthly or as requested.

Job Description:
Seeking a Public Health Program Director to provide strategic leadership for rural health and maternal/infant health initiatives. The role will oversee program implementation, grant-funded contracts, community partnerships, and technology initiatives supporting care coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee public health programs across designated rural counties.
Manage contracts, budgets, deliverables, reporting, and compliance.
Serve as liaison with grantees, software vendors, internal teams, and community partners.
Monitor program performance and use data for planning and evaluation.
Support software platform procurement and implementation.
Develop sustainability plans and identify future funding opportunities.
Conduct meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagements.
Provide technical assistance and support to program partners.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Public Health or related field.
5+ years of progressively responsible professional health program experience.
Experience with program/grant management, contract oversight, budgeting, and reporting.
Strong project management, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with public health data and multi-partner initiatives.
Knowledge of maternal, fetal, infant, or rural health is preferred.
