Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled D365 Systems Administrator to lead the administration, optimization, and strategic evolution of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP ecosystem. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of enterprise resource planning, leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies and shaping the future of our finance and operations systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP Ecosystem Management: Lead the administration and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring peak performance, security, and high availability.
  • Cloud Infrastructure & Optimization: Architect and manage scalable ERP infrastructure utilizing Microsoft Azure cloud services, implementing best practices for cloud security and cost-efficiency.
  • Platform Integration: Administer and seamlessly integrate Microsoft 365 services (identity, security, collaboration) with Dynamics ERP to enhance enterprise productivity.
  • Development & Deployment: Oversee and maintain the Universal Development Environment (UDE) for efficient development, testing, and deployment pipelines, supporting continuous integration and delivery.
  • Compliance & Security: Define, enforce, and monitor governance, security, and compliance policies aligned with industry standards such as SOX and GDPR.
  • Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with finance, supply chain, and operations leadership to streamline workflows, optimize system utilization, and leverage ERP modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
  • Performance & Capacity Planning: Drive proactive system tuning, capacity planning, and performance monitoring to ensure system reliability.
  • Upgrade & Maintenance: Manage system upgrades, patches, data migrations, and environment refresh strategies with minimal business impact.
  • Integration & Data Management: Design and implement robust integrations with external systems, APIs, and data platforms to support complex business needs.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Implement and regularly test comprehensive backup, disaster recovery, and recovery plans.
  • Team Leadership & Documentation: Mentor junior administrators, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and maintain detailed documentation for architecture, configurations, and procedures.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for complex ERP and cloud-related issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of proven expertise with Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems, with significant experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Extensive hands-on experience administering large-scale enterprise ERP environments.
  • Strong proficiency with Universal Development Environment (UDE) for development and deployment pipelines.
  • Mandatory expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud computing and Microsoft 365 suite (identity management, security, infrastructure).
  • Deep understanding of financial systems, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience designing role-based security models, managing compliance frameworks, and ensuring data governance.
  • Skilled in system integrations, API architectures, and data management strategies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting, system tuning, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 F&O, Azure Administrator/Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified).
  • Familiarity with Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and environment orchestration.
  • Experience with X++ customization, reporting tools (Power BI, SSRS), and release management.
  • Knowledge of enterprise security standards and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR).
Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 - $65.00 Hourly
