About the RoleNextEra Energy is seeking an experienced
Core Network Infrastructure Project Managerto lead enterprise-scale network initiatives across corporate, operational
technology (OT), and generation environments. This role is focused on
drivinginfrastructure delivery, not hands-on configuration, and requires strong
technical knowledge of networking concepts to effectively manage engineers,
vendors, and stakeholders.
You will be responsible for ensuring complex network refreshes, circuit upgrades,
and data center initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with business and
construction timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead large-scale core network infrastructure projects, including:
- Network refresh initiatives
- Data center and core routing/switching projects
- Circuit upgrades and connectivity deployments
- Own end-to-end project execution: planning, scheduling, risk management, and delivery
- Partner with network engineering, cybersecurity, field operations, and business teams
- Coordinate vendors, carriers, and internal resources
- Track progress and dependencies using Jira and/or ServiceNow
- Communicate clearly with leadership on status, risks, and timelines
- Ensure alignment with compliance, security, and operational standards
Required Skills & Experience- Strong project management experience supporting infrastructure or network projects
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure concepts (routing, switching, circuits, data centers) - no hands-on engineering required
- Experience leading large-scale infrastructure upgrades or new buildouts
- Familiarity with Jira and/or ServiceNow
- Experience working with telecom circuits and carriers
- Ability to operate in highly regulated or mission-critical environments

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Juno Beach, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
