Job Description: Atlassian (Jira) Migration Specialist
We are looking for an Atlassian Migration Specialist with strong experience migrating Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jira Service Management from Server/Data Center environments to Atlassian Cloud. The role involves planning and executing endtoend migrations, managing app/plugin transitions, optimizing cloud setups, and ensuring data integrity and security throughout the process.
The specialist will work closely with crossfunctional teams to assess existing environments, address customizations, conduct test migrations, troubleshoot issues, and provide postmigration support. Experience integrating Atlassian Cloud with identity and access management solutions, including SSO and user provisioning, is essential.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience migrating Atlassian tools to Cloud
- Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket & JSM configurations
- Experience with SSO, identity integrations, and provisioning workflows
- Proficiency with migration tools and handling complex setups
- Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance, and performance best practices
- Scripting and automation skills (Python/Java/JavaScript preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and project coordination abilities
Preferred: Atlassian certifications, experience with large-scale migrations, and knowledge of cloud platforms or synchronization tools.
