Degree: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in an accredited Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science program
Note: Associate degrees are not accepted

Experience equivalency:
o5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree
o2+ years of experience with a Master's degree
oPhD may substitute for some experience

Experience with SLAM, graph optimization libraries, and state estimation
Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System)
Strong foundation in mathematics: 3D geometry, linear algebra, statistical error modeling (Gauss-Markov processes)
Ability to work in various coordinate systems and perform transformations
Understanding of physics-based modeling, vehicle modeling, and dynamics
Ability to survey literature and convert research papers into production implementations

Key Contributions to Work Group
Software development focused on positioning and localization
Collaborate to prototype and productionize algorithms enabling autonomous & semiautonomous systems to localize robustly within their environment
Estimate absolute position and altitude, as well as relative position to terrain features and static/mobile equipment
Implement filters using perception-based, inertial, and GNSS inputs
Participate in all development phases: design, documentation, coding, quality, and validation
Research and design localization algorithms and software
Develop production-quality C++ software including design, documentation, coding, validation, and functional safety support
Contribute to requirements generation and architecture design for localization
Collaborate with and mentor localization team members
Work primarily in-office, with occasional lab or proving ground work (PPE and safety glasses required)
Led by an Architect and Program Manager
Collaborative, technically focused team
Office-based with occasional lab/test site visits
New addition to the team
