Senior Web Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Rochester Hills, MI that is seeking a Senior Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications supporting initiatives. This role partners closely with product, marketing, account teams, and corporate IT to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with strong experience in modern web technologies, backend services, and database-driven applications. The Senior Web Developer will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, testing, documentation, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using modern Microsoft-based technologies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solution designs
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established development standards
* Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application quality and reliability
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
* Interface with Corporate IT teams to support integration and deployment efforts
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across environments

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of professional web application development experience
* Experience working within Visual Studio and modern development toolchains
* Solid understanding of web application architecture and database-driven systems
* Experience working with content management systems and enterprise web platforms
* Familiarity with source control systems (Git preferred)
* Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong experience with:
* C# and ASP.NET/.NET
* RESTful Web Services and APIs
* Microsoft SQL Server
* IIS
* JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

Preferred:
* Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
* Exposure to cloud-hosted or hybrid application environments
* Experience supporting enterprise or customer-facing applications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
