Summary

Our client is seeking a contractor to lead execution of the redesigned Year-End Performance Review. This individual will operate as a senior individual contributor, accountable for delivering a high-quality, on-time performance review experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Year-End Performance Review Execution (Primary Focus):

  • Execute delivery of the redesigned year-end performance review process
  • Develop and deliver manager enablement materials (training decks, guides, job aids)
  • Draft and refine employee and manager communications aligned to the new process
  • Partner with the Workday team to finalize configuration and support testing/validation
  • Collaborate with internal project manager to ensure on-time execution of project plan and management of timelines, deliverables, and dependencies
  • Ensure a smooth, consistent, and employee-centered experience across the organization
  • Identify and proactively mitigate risks and execution gaps

General Program Execution Expectations:

  • Operate as a self-directed owner of deliverables with minimal oversight
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Maintain clear documentation and materials to support consistency and scale
  • Apply strong communication and change management practices

Qualifications:

5 8+ years of experience in Talent Management, L&D, HR, or a related field

  • Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex, cross-functional programs
  • Strong organizational, project management, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across stakeholders
  • Experience with performance management processes (Workday experience preferred)

  • Comfortable managing complex and interdependent workstreams
  • Pragmatic and solutions-focused
  • Strong communicator with the ability to enable managers and support employees through change

Potential Additional Scope:

  • Execution of the annual employee engagement survey
  • Support for succession planning and talent review strategy
  • Development of talent management toolkits to enable manager effectiveness
  • Support design and delivery of other talent management programs as needed

Salary/Rate: $65-$75/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
