AWS Data Architect (Onsite Alameda, CA)

Looking for local consultants

We are looking for a highly experienced AWS Data Architect to design and build scalable data platforms and analytics solutions.

12 15+ years in IT with strong Data Engineering & Architecture
Hands-on experience with AWS stack: S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, EMR
Strong SQL, data modeling (Star/Snowflake), ETL/ELT pipelines
Experience with real-time & batch processing (Kinesis/Kafka preferred)
Exposure to Salesforce integration (Sales/Service Cloud)
Experience with Tableau dashboards & data visualization
Prior experience as Technical Lead / Architect

Design and implement AWS data lake/lakehouse architecture
Build scalable data pipelines (batch & real-time)
Integrate Salesforce with AWS data platforms
Define data models and BI architecture (Tableau)
Ensure data governance, security, and performance optimization
Lead and mentor data engineering teams

Experience with CI/CD, Terraform/CloudFormation
Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
Agile/Scrum experience preferred
