Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior Support Analyst in New York, NY.
Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Junior IT Support Analyst to join our End User Support team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional looking to build a strong foundation in IT support while gaining hands-on experience in a corporate environment.
This role is focused on delivering exceptional end-user support and is designed for someone who is still developing their technical career rather than pursuing immediate advancement into systems administration.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Tier 1 technical support through a ticketing queue
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for Mac and Windows users
* Deliver both in-person and remote support to employees
* Configure, stage, and deploy laptops and other end-user devices
* Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities
* Assist with conference room technology setup and troubleshooting
* Provide walk-up support for office employees
* Document issues, resolutions, and support activities
* Escalate complex technical issues when appropriate
* Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism
Work Environment:
* Onsite position supporting users across multiple office locations
* Frequent interaction with employees and business stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of IT support experience
* Recent internship or entry-level experience supporting end users
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* Desire to learn and grow within a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to or familiarity with:
* Jamf
* Microsoft Intune
* Okta
* Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
Experience working in:
* Corporate IT support environments
* Campus or university IT departments
* Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
* Consumer technology support organizations (e.g., Geek Squad)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
