Summary

Position Description:

Act as the functional and technical lead for Kafka implementation
Enabling real time capabilities designing application and proposing architecture for real time applications
Managing architecture for performance tuning related to Kafka
Working the development team of 5-6 developers on the implementation of Kafka
Provide input to development team to implement Kafka

Required Skills:

Confluent or Apache Kafka experience (Apache preferred) implementing from scratch, OnPrem and also Cloud (Azure or AWS, mostly Azure here)
Hands-on experience building Real time data streaming experience (ex: Rest APIs) ex: streaming change data capture
3+ years of Architecture design experience within Kafka
3+ years SQL query and debugging, performance improvement experience is an absolute must
3+ years hands-on development in Web Technologies Angular or React, .Net to create RestAPIs very highly preferred (must for now)
AI assisted coding experience a must using Github Copilot or similar tools

Bonus Skills:

5+ years of Healthcare payer experience a must to understand healthcare data
EDI 834 and 820 knowledge
FACETS, FACETS extensions, and Member experience a must and surrounding application areas
FHIR API experience a bonus
