Job Title: Senior SAP Admin
Job at a Glance: This role is for an SAP SME - specifically someone with extensive SAP Basis experience, including strong skills in data archiving in S/4HANA.
Location: 600 E Canal Street Richmond Virginia 23219 United States (fully virtual possibility)
Work Schedule: Hybrid, 1 week onsite / 1 week remote
Pay Rate: $80/hr W2 + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
Duration of Contract: 12-month contract with extension/conversion possibility
Responsibilities:

Serve as subject matter expert in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation and support
Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems across the enterprise landscape
Support SAP systems including S/4HANA, BW/BI, Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, Fiori, PI/PO, C4C, and OpenText
Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, enhancement pack deployments, and support package implementations
Monitor and optimize SAP system performance across databases, application servers, and interfaces
Administer SAP HANA databases, Oracle (including Exadata), or other relevant database platforms
Support Solaris/Oracle and Linux/Oracle platforms
Manage S/4HANA data archiving processes including configuration of file systems, content servers, and archive storage locations
Perform end-to-end configuration, execution, monitoring, and troubleshooting of archiving jobs across multiple SAP objects

Required Skills:

9+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience
Extensive SAP Basis administration experience supporting systems such as S/4HANA, BW/BI, Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, Fiori, PI/PO, C4C, and OpenText
In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA architecture, cloud-based SAP technologies, and SAP Integration Suites
Experience administering SAP HANA databases and Oracle databases, including Exadata
Strong proficiency in S/4HANA data archiving configuration and execution

Nice to Have:

SAP Basis or SAP HANA certifications
Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP hosting SAP workloads
Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or Terraform
Knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Release Management
Experience with SAP integration tools and interfaces including BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, iFlows, and PI/PO
