Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP R2R Lead / Finance Transformation Consultant to drive end-to-end transformation of the Record-to-Report (R2R) function within an SAP landscape. This role combines deep functional finance expertise with strong SAP S/4HANA capabilities to deliver streamlined processes, faster financial close cycles, and enhanced decision-making through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End R2R Ownership

Lead and manage the full R2R lifecycle including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Accounting, and Financial Close

Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting

Financial Close Acceleration

Drive initiatives to reduce close cycle timelines through automation and process optimization

Implement best practices for continuous close and fast-close methodologies

SAP Leadership & Delivery

Lead configuration, enhancement, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP FI/CO modules

Collaborate with technical teams to design scalable and future-ready solutions

Transformation & Automation

Identify opportunities to implement RPA, AI/GenAI, and workflow automation

Reduce manual interventions and improve operational efficiency

Compliance & Controls

Ensure adherence to IFRS and GAAP standards

Strengthen internal controls and support audit readiness and compliance initiatives

Data & Analytics Enablement

Enable real-time financial reporting and dashboards

Integrate SAP with BI and data platforms for advanced analytics and insights

Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with Finance leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams

Align business objectives with technology solutions

Required Qualifications

8 15+ years of experience in SAP Finance, with strong focus on R2R processes

Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4HANA Finance

Proven track record in financial close and reporting transformation programs

Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and audit processes

Experience with automation, digital finance, or analytics initiatives

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in large-scale ERP or finance transformation programs

Exposure to cloud ERP environments

Familiarity with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere)

Experience working in global or multi-entity environments
