Overview:
The Ohio Department of Job & Family Services (ODJFS), Office of Information Services, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA5) with strong skills in requirements analysis, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and process alignment related to interface and file transfer modernization efforts.

Contract (Time & Materials). Classification: BA5 (More than 10 years of relevant technical experience).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner Outreach & Coordination
• Identify and lead outreach to third-party interface partners to support migration activities off the mainframe platform.
• Initiate contact, schedule discussions, confirm availability for testing, and maintain ongoing communication throughout the transition.
2. Interface & File Transfer Inventory & Documentation
• Develop and maintain a complete inventory of all interfaces, file transfers, and stakeholders impacted by the migration.
• Utilize prior project documentation, templates, and standards provided by JFS to ensure clarity and completeness.
3. Technical Planning & Cross Team Collaboration
• Coordinate closely with mainframe (JCL) teams, Axway/middleware specialists, and distributed platform engineers.
• Align technical planning with partner requirements, ensuring file formats, triggers, and batch execution windows meet operational expectations.
4. Schedule Management & Delivery Tracking
• Manage the migration schedule, adapting plans based on vendor responsiveness and internal resource constraints.
• Drive timely execution across multiple teams.
5. SFTP Environment Setup & Testing
• Oversee testing cycles based on partner capabilities, ensuring successful authentication, file delivery, and processing
