Business Systems Analyst(Application Migration)

Role: Business Systems Analyst / Application Migration Coordinator
Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for assigned application teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Coordinate and lead recurring discovery meetings, working sessions, checkpoints, and governance preparation calls.
• Track application migration status, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues using ServiceNow or comparable ITSM tools.
• Follow up proactively on outstanding actions and drive issues through resolution.
• Coordinate application progression through Design, Development, Certification, Pre-Production, and Production/Go-Live stages.
• Ensure required documentation, testing evidence, approvals, and governance artifacts are completed before each migration gate.
• Coordinate handoffs between Architecture, Design, Build, Testing, Infrastructure, Network, Cybersecurity, and Governance teams.
• Identify blockers and escalate them early with clear business and technical impact.
• Prepare concise weekly status updates for application stakeholders and program leadership.
• Support production cutover, Go/No-Go decisions, rollback planning, and migration execution.
• Coordinate change management activities, including change records, CAB approvals, and governance requirements.
• Track and communicate technical dependencies such as application integrations, IP/DNS changes, firewall rules, certificates, backup/DR, connectivity, and environment readiness.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase the efficiency and maturity of the enterprise migration program.
• Manage multiple applications/workstreams simultaneously while maintaining accurate program reporting.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Technical Project Coordinator, Technical Project Manager, or similar role.
• Experience supporting application, infrastructure, data center, or cloud migration initiatives.
• Strong experience with cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead meetings with multiple technical teams and maintain clear action items and follow-ups.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience tracking projects, issues, dependencies, or changes in ServiceNow or another ITSM/project management platform.
• Understanding of change management, CAB, governance, and approval processes.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to understand and accurately communicate issues involving:
• Application dependencies
• Network connectivity
• IP and DNS
• Firewall rules
• SSL/TLS certificates
• Backup and Disaster Recovery
• Testing environments
• Production cutover and rollback
