Job Title: UX Designer

Contract Length: 8 Month contract
Location: San Antonio, TX 78288

Overview

We are seeking a Junior UX Designer to support the design and delivery of digital applications. This role focuses on improving user experience by creating intuitive, user-friendly, and visually engaging designs across web and mobile platforms.

You will collaborate with designers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into effective design solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their UX career with a strong portfolio and a passion for human-centered design.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design team in delivering finalized UX/UI designs for digital applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business goals
• Assist in translating complex problems into clear design requirements and solutions
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and iteration cycles
• Contribute to the design of web and native/mobile applications
• Communicate design rationale effectively to team members and stakeholders
• Help ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in UX design and visual design
• Proficiency with:

  • Sketch
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Microsoft Office tools
  
  
• Experience designing for web, mobile, or digital applications
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Portfolio showcasing UX design work (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Experience working in Agile or collaborative product teams
• Exposure to user research and usability testing
