Job Title: SAP Security Business Consultant (SAP S/4HANA / GRC)
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (04/01/2026 – 10/01/2026)
Pay Rate: $60–$65/hr W2 ONLY

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Security Business Consultant to support a global enterprise SAP environment. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Security, S/4HANA, ECC, and SAP GRC, with strong experience supporting global implementations and security architecture.

• No third-party submissions. Staffing firms and recruiters are NOT permitted to submit candidates on behalf of applicants

• Local candidates preferred – must be able to work onsite in Chicago 3–4 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SAP Security support across global enterprise environments.

• Design and maintain SAP security architecture for ECC and S/4HANA environments.

• Manage SAP GRC Access Control 12.0 including ARM, ARA, BRM, and EAM.

• Support global S/4HANA implementations, ensuring security compliance, architecture alignment, and cutover readiness.

• Maintain roles, access, and user authorizations across SAP environments.

• Work with ABAP, HANA DB, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and cloud-based SAP applications.

• Implement SAP data masking and data protection configurations.

• Partner with global cross-functional teams to support security and compliance initiatives.

• Ensure appropriate segregation of duties (SoD) and risk management within SAP GRC.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP Security experience supporting large global enterprise environments.

• Strong expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA security.

• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control 12.0 (ARM, ARA, BRM, EAM).

• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA database security.

• Experience with SAP role management, user provisioning, and authorization frameworks.

• Familiarity with ABAP, FIORI, BTP applications, and modules including:

  • FI

  • OTC

  • EWM

  • Manufacturing (MFG)

• Experience configuring SAP masking and data protection.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Highly Desired

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations in large organizations.

• Exposure to BW, BW4HANA, HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing industry experience.
