Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager - FedRAMP for a contract position with a Leading Application Security Company located in Boston, MA; Washington, DC; or Atlanta, GA. This is a 9 month contract opportunity. Will consider Remote. As a Senior Project Manager on the Public Sector team, you will drive the FedRAMP Moderate authorization of a multi-engine application security platform, from readiness through Authority to Operate (ATO) and into continuous monitoring. This is an interdisciplinary and highly visible role that sits between product management, engineering, security, and vendors, focused on unlocking federal and regulated commercial markets.
Responsibilities: - Own the master schedule and milestones for the Moderate ATO: gap remediation, readiness, control implementation, 3PAO assessment, and agency authorization
- Drive alignment across engineering, security, and vendors, and keep the critical path moving to ATO
- Establish and run the monthly continuous monitoring rhythm, including vulnerability scans, POA&M updates, system inventory, and executive incident reporting
- Govern the Significant Change Request (SCR) process so platform changes ship without compliance drift
- Coordinate the 3PAO relationship end to end, including selection support, mock assessments, and evidence delivery
- Work daily with Product Management, Engineering, Security, GRC, Legal, Support, and external partners
- Provide weekly dashboards on project health, schedule variance, and open risk
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and resource constraints across the authorization timeline
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements that shorten cycle times and harden evidence quality
Requirements: - 6 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years supporting a security, compliance, or regulated cloud project
- Working knowledge of FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 at the Moderate level
- Demonstrated ability to translate compliance or security requirements into tracked engineering work and hold a schedule across a matrixed organization
- Strong written and verbal communication, including experience delivering clear, concise updates to senior leadership

- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent real-world experience
Desired skills: - Direct experience taking a cloud service offering through a FedRAMP Moderate ATO or sustaining an existing authorization
- Familiarity with FedRAMP 20x and CR26
- Experience with a pre-authorized cloud environment (Google Cloud Platform Assured Workloads, AWS GovCloud, or Azure Government)
- Hands-on with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet
- Basic knowledge of 3PAO management, authorization boundary definition, container vulnerability scanning, and POA&M deviation handling
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe RTE, CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification is a plus
