We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator to support enterprise applications in a modern cloud environment. This role focuses on Oracle database administration, performance optimization, and cloud migration (Azure preferred), working with complex data models and high-volume systems. You will play a key role in ensuring database performance, reliability, and scalability while partnering with development teams in an Agile environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone experienced in enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and database modernization initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases in a production environment
- Lead and support migration of on-prem databases to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning solutions
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity
- Design and implement logical and physical data models
- Support ETL processes and data integration across multiple systems
- Automate and manage database jobs and workflows
- Ensure database security, compliance, and adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with development teams in an Agile (Scrum) environment
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders
qualifications:
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in database administration
- Strong experience with Oracle and SQL Server
- Proven experience in database design, performance tuning, and optimization
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and multi-tier architectures
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS a plus)
- Experience migrating on-prem databases to the cloud
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration
- Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery environments
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Git)
- Experience with Power BI or reporting tools
- Relevant certifications (Azure, DBA) are a plus
