  • Configure system settings, security/roles, templates, calendars, codes, and workflows to support project controls and delivery needs.

  • Support integrations between Primavera solutions and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, cost systems, document control, data warehouses) as required.

  • Assist with migrations and transitions (e.g., P6 to OPC), including planning, configuration, and validation.

Client Support and Training:

  • Provide expert-level support for Primavera P6 / OPC applications, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution guidance.

  • Conduct training sessions (admin, scheduler, and end-user) on Primavera P6/OPC functionality and best practices.

  • Develop training materials, job aids, and adoption guidance to increase user success and consistency.

  • Provide ongoing consultation and advisory support to ensure client adoption and project outcomes.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide schedule and project insights (Power BI experience preferred).

  • Validate data accuracy and ensure reporting outputs align with agreed KPI definitions and business rules.

  • Provide recommendations based on data analysis to enhance project performance, visibility, and decision-making.

Project Management / Project Controls Consulting:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand project management and controls needs (planning, scheduling, progress, forecasting, governance).

  • Translate client requirements into technical specifications for Primavera configuration, reporting, and process design.

  • Advise on best practices for schedule development, updating discipline, baseline management, resource loading (as applicable), and controls governance.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with Primavera P6/OPC features, updates, and industry trends.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to existing Primavera environments, processes, and reporting standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with Primavera P6 in a project controls or scheduling capacity.

  • Experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Oracle Primavera solutions in client environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including configuration, administration, and optimization.

  • Familiarity with Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC); hands-on OPC implementation experience is a plus.

  • Experience with reporting and analytics; Power BI experience preferred.

  • Understanding of integrations/data flows and comfort working with technical teams to support interfaces and reporting layers.

Consulting Skills:

  • Strong understanding of project controls principles (CPM scheduling, baselines, progress, forecasting, governance).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing delivery (workshops, training, executive updates).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively, with strong organization and follow-through.

Preferred

  • Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry and/or large capital projects.

  • Familiarity with other Oracle Primavera tools and adjacent systems (e.g., Unifier, P6 EPPM, ERPs).

  • Certifications in Primavera and/or project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP, PSP).
