Job Overview:Job Description: - IVR Automation Engineer
- Seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build client's automated regression test bed using client's internal UI with a Hammer Call Master backend.
- This role requires a highly independent engineer with strong IVR/EIVA and call flow analysis expertise.
Responsibilities: - Build an automated regression suite using client's proprietary UI and Hammer Call Master.
- Convert manual Octane test scripts into automated Hammer scripts using the easy-to-use UI.
- Run daily automated tests and provide clear reporting.
- Triage test failures by reviewing LucidChart call flows and identifying test data issues.
- Develop a virtualized service/stubs to support scripts requiring unstable or unavailable test data (e.g., payment flows), while maintaining validation of EIVA flows and API behavior.
Required Qualifications: - Experience creating Hammer Call Master prompts.
- Expertise in IVR/EIVA systems and call flow analysis.
- Experience with service virtualization or stubbing.
- Ability to work independently
Core Skills Emphasis: - Strong analysis skills (more important than LucidChart specifically)
- Call flows may be documented in Visio or similar tools
- Ability to review design documentation and troubleshoot
- Experience working through a backlog of test cases
Test Data and Stubbing (Important / More Niche): - Experience with test data stubbing / mock data creation
- Ability to build out virtualized services or stubbed environments
- Experience handling unstable or unavailable test data
- Stubbing experience is considered more niche and valuable
Technical Background: - Java programming background preferred
- Experience supporting automation frameworks
- Comfortable working with regression suites
Tool Requirements: - Does not need to be a deep Hammer Call Master expert but its preferred.
- Experience with Call Flow Analysis is critical
- Strong ability to review designs and identify root causes of issues
- Familiarity with IVR/EIVA environments required
- Will interface with a homegrown/internal tool
Pay Range: $65 - $70
