Position: Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Overview: The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for performing high-complexity analysis, design, development, and unit testing of software applications based on user requirements and design documents. The role involves resolving defects encountered during various testing cycles, managing infrastructure on AWS Cloud, and implementing scalable, high-performance, and secure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering (Java or Python) and DevOps practices, with expertise in AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.
Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance, and secure infrastructure on AWS Cloud.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Set up and configure AWS infrastructure components such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more.
- Implement AWS security best practices and ensure data protection.
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java and AWS services such as AWS Lambda and Amazon ECS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers.
- Communicate effectively to explain technical concepts and solutions.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience across the appropriate platform.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of Java/J2EE programming concepts.
- Spring and Spring Boot experience.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
- Proficiency with AWS Cloud deployment, ECS, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Solid knowledge of programming languages and application architecture.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Pay Range: $75 - $80 (W2 Only)
