Summary

Description
Data Reporting Support Specialist providing statewide customer support and training for Wisconsin school and district data reporting, with a focus on data submissions, data quality review, and proactive issue resolution through CRM-based help desk operations.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary customer service contact for Wisconsin schools and districts via CRM tickets, email, and phone
  • Create, manage, and monitor service requests, incidents, and problem resolution in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Monitor district WISEdata reporting progress and proactively outreach when support is needed
  • Assist the WISEdata product owner by identifying recurring issues and process improvement opportunities
  • Support districts with WISEdata submissions, validation, and error resolution
  • Guide districts in using WISEdata Portal and WISEdash for data review and analysis
  • Perform data health checks using dashboards, visualizations, and downloadable data files
  • Review district data quality reports prior to state snapshot deadlines
  • Provide virtual and on-site training, including demonstrations, workshops, and conference presentations
  • Create and maintain training videos, tutorials, and user guidance materials
  • Collaborate with technical writers to maintain FAQs and statewide support resources
  • Advise management on complex cases requiring escalation or additional support
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of application changes, procedures, and reporting requirements
  • Participate in professional development, vendor training, and team meetings
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills & Knowledge
  • Help desk and customer service support in a complex, deadline-driven environment
  • Customer needs analysis and professional stakeholder communication
  • Data quality validation, business logic interpretation, and compliance review
  • Training delivery and adult learning facilitation
  • Independent work with strong collaboration skills
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Data analysis using dashboards and exported datasets

Environment & Domain Experience
  • Wisconsin K-12 education data reporting
  • Statewide reporting cycles and data snapshots
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product, technical writing, and vendor teams

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
