Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Support Manager for a hybrid position (3 days per week) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role supports Business Support Management with a focus on complex funding and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate will provide financial guidance to Program and Project Managers on forecasting, portfolio balancing, and staffing requirements, while also analyzing resource run rates, trends, and expenses to determine funding needs.
Responsibilities: - Act as a liaison between technology teams and business support managers to assist with funding related gaps, challenges, and changes
- Develop tools and tracking mechanisms to ensure all financial decisions and changes are clearly documented and communicated
- Manage resource and direct expense forecasting
- Ensure programs and projects are forecasted as expected from a spend perspective
- Partner with Technology Teams, Business Support Managers, and the COO
- Assist project teams in activities to resolve planning and funding issues/gaps
- Support strategic and ad hoc business support and financial needs
Requirements: - 4+ years of previous financial services, technology strategic planning, or project management experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with a diverse set of stakeholders, identify their needs, and develop plans to support them
- Ability to anticipate the next step in the process and develop proactive plans/tools to address
- Creative thinker and results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and to work effectively across teams
- Experience with financial and Agile tools (e.g., Jira)
- Extensive financial analytical skills, delivering outcomes in summarized executive-level presentations
- Exhibit strong financial acumen understanding P&L statements
- Ability to succinctly convey information to executive leaders and stakeholders
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Desired skills: - Advanced level Excel skills
- Ability to analyze and curate Executive Level financial summary commentary
Pay range: $43.54 - $51.54 per hour
