Job Role: Threat Release Manager

Location: Dallas, TX - Remote/Hybrid

Job Description:

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing network infrastructure and security programs/projects.
• Strong project/program management experience across multiple interdependent projects.
• Experience in end-to-end network delivery, including requirement gathering, planning, implementation, release, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of network and cybersecurity technologies.
• Hands-on experience with threat/security platforms such as:
• SkyHigh Secure Web Gateway
• F5 SSLO
• Trellix FireEye
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical and implementation plans.
• Experience managing engineering teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
• Strong knowledge of Change Management, Release Management, CAB, Incident, and Problem Management processes.
• Experience creating and tracking project plans, risks, dependencies, release calendars, and status reports.
• Strong client-facing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience working across global teams and time zones.
• Certifications such as PMP and ITIL preferred; CCNA is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of network and security projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, implementation, vendors, and business teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Track scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and project milestones.
• Manage release, deployment, and change activities, including CRQs and CAB approvals.
• Ensure all documentation, implementation plans, and change records are complete and compliant.
• Provide regular project updates to senior stakeholders and leadership.
• Proactively identify conflicts, delays, and risks, and drive resolution.
• Support incident, problem, and post-implementation reviews.
• Ensure adherence to SLA, quality, and enterprise change management standards.

Preferred Background

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Background in financial services, banking, insurance, or investment banking preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in fast-changing environments.
