Overview
Client is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst II for a key 14-week initiative supporting a leading clean energy provider. Following a recent corporate acquisition, the client is scaling its sustainability and ESG data infrastructure within the Workiva platform. The Business Analyst will lead the technical setup, entity onboarding, metric configuration, and historical data loading required to prepare the platform for corporate-wide greenhouse gas and ESG reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Add and configure new operational entities, sites, and greenhouse gas emission sources into the Workiva platform.
Build and manipulate custom data metrics, attributes, and structures to support ESG data collection across business units.
Load, map, and validate historical baseline greenhouse gas data (2023 reporting year) to verify system calculation accuracy and data flow.
Support the onboarding of non-greenhouse gas ESG metrics, including water consumption and HR reporting metrics.
Onboard and configure system access for data providers and reviewers across various organizational departments.
Execute data validation and tie-out processes to confirm that system calculations accurately reflect source data prior to live reporting cycles.
Assist in developing training materials and onboarding documentation to support new Workiva users and subject matter experts.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of experience working in data-centric business analysis, data administration, or enterprise systems setup.
Hands-on experience navigating and configuring Workiva (specifically Workiva ESG/GHG module)
Experience with corporate financial/accounting platforms utilized for carbon accounting and ESG reporting.
Demonstrated proficiency with advanced spreadsheet functions, data modeling concepts, and data mapping.
Proven experience performing data quality checks, tie-outs, and validation across multi-tier data systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), or carbon emissions data collection.
Experience training end-users or building technical onboarding documentation for software applications.
