Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications to understand project requirements.
• Conduct site visits and investigations to gather necessary data for estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to understand project scope and requirements.
• Analyze and adjust estimates based on project changes or updates.
• Present and explain estimates to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Monitor and track project costs to ensure estimates are accurate and budgets are maintained.
• Stay current on industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure estimates are competitive and accurate.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, proposal presentations, and client meetings as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing estimation or a related role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certification in cost estimation or construction is a plus.
