Job#: 3027129 Job Description: Position Title: BI Architect OverviewWe are seeking a highly technical, hands-on BI Architect / BI Analyst to design, build, and evolve enterprise analytics experiences within the MicroStrategy platform. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data visualization, user experience, and building dashboards that truly drive engagement and decision-making.
You will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to modernize analytics, showcase new AI-enabled capabilities, and help prioritize and deliver against a large backlog of 400+ use cases across a diverse user base.
This is a "doer" role - someone who raises their hand, gets it done, and takes pride in polished, high-impact BI solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesBI & Dashboard Development- Design and build enterprise and role-based dashboards (15-20 role-focused views) within MicroStrategy
- Create broad, enterprise-wide dashboards as well as highly targeted, niche dashboards for specific use cases and user groups (1,000+ users)
- Ensure dashboards are visually compelling, intuitive, and have strong fit-and-finish
- Translate complex data into simple, user-friendly experiences
User Experience & Engagement- Apply UX principles to analytics to ensure ease of use and adoption
- Continuously refine dashboards to improve clarity, usability, and impact
- Focus on web-based, user-centric analytics experiences
AI & Advanced Analytics (Nice to Have)- Help embed AI-driven features into dashboards (e.g., Google-search-like interaction to ask questions of the data)
- Showcase new capabilities using AI to enhance insight discovery and engagement
- Work with backend analytics in MicroStrategy to support natural language queries and advanced visualizations
- AI experience is a plus, but not required
Collaboration & Delivery- Partner closely with a highly collaborative team
- Support prioritization and delivery of a large analytics backlog
- Work cross-functionally with technical and business teams to deliver solutions that meet real-world needs
Required Qualifications- Strong experience with MicroStrategy (enterprise analytics platform)
- Solid technical foundation in:
- Background in data analytics / business intelligence
- Strong experience designing and building dashboards and visual analytics
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically
- Comfortable working across many use cases and user personas
- Strong problem-solver with a hands-on, ownership mindset
Preferred / Nice-to-Have- Experience embedding or enabling AI-driven analytics
- Very strong BI architecture background
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise analytics environments
- Prior experience modernizing or enhancing legacy BI platforms
- Passion for analytics - this is more than "just a job"
