Remote work
Configures, tests, maintains, and troubleshoots complex network infrastructure such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points. Runs network projects from design through implementation, configuration, testing and turnup.
Skills/Requirements:
5+ years creating configuration scripts, not just implementing a script another engineer created
5+ years LAN Network Engineering
5+ years’ experience in Cisco Switch/Router network configuration and trouble shooting
Expert knowledge of Cisco router and switch configuration and troubleshooting
Expert knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting VSS and HSRP
Expert knowledge of MACsec configuration and troubleshooting
Expert knowledge of layer 2 tunneling
Expert knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting layer 2 and layer 3 protocols (e.g. spanning tree, IPv4, 802.1q, EIGRP)
Expert knowledge of Cisco software licensing and upgrading IOS
Expert knowledge of IP addressing and subnetting
Verbal and written Communication Visio, Power Point, Word, Excel
LAN Design and Architecture - Minimum 5 years’ experience
Experience in Deploying and managing wireless environments (wireless LAN controller and access points)
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
Strong Communication and presentation skills. Be able to communicate effectively with network engineering (internal and external) and management (internal and customer)
Certifications: Desire CCNP or higher
