Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex benefits stabilization and issue-resolution initiatives across Workday, payroll, employee data, integrations, vendor systems, and business processes.
The Senior Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams across HR, payroll, finance, ERP, technical and functional teams, business analysts, and third-party vendors. This role will drive issues from identification and prioritization through root-cause analysis, remediation, testing, production deployment, reconciliation, and verified closure.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing ERP/HCM projects, cross-functional stakeholders, dependencies, risks, issue resolution, and SDLC/project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a centralized benefits issue backlog covering business impact, severity, affected population, ownership, dependencies, target dates, and closure criteria.
- Lead cross-functional teams through issue triage, root-cause analysis, corrective action, testing, deployment, and closure.
- Establish clear owners, action items, timelines, dependencies, and accountability across functional, technical, payroll, finance, and vendor teams.
- Develop and maintain an integrated project stabilization plan and schedule across multiple workstreams.
- Facilitate issue-triage meetings, working sessions, decision meetings, and executive status reviews.
- Coordinate analysis of Workday configuration, employee/payroll data, integration logic, transaction processing, vendor systems, and business processes.
- Identify and manage dependencies across related integrations and technical or business processes.
- Coordinate test planning, test data, expected results, regression testing, vendor validation, and business acceptance.
- Manage change control, release readiness, production deployment, and post-deployment validation.
- Ensure corrected processes and integrations reconcile accurately with Workday benefits and payroll results.
- Track and escalate risks, overdue actions, resource constraints, unresolved ownership, financial impacts, and critical decisions.
- Ensure affected employee records, payroll deductions, contributions, vendor funding, and financial transactions are appropriately addressed.
- Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, decisions, action items, owners, and completion dates.
- Prepare concise executive-level reports covering issue aging, affected populations, financial exposure, testing progress, risks, dependencies, and resolution trends.
Required Qualifications

- Eligibility to sit for the PMP certification examination.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with ERP stabilization, production issue management, integrations, testing, reconciliation, and release management.
- PMP or CAPM certification.
