Sr. Epic Analyst - Dorothy
Job Summary
The Senior Epic Analyst - Dorothy serves as the primary resource for application design, configuration, and build within the assigned module area. This role is responsible for assessing current-state workflows, designing future-state solutions, and translating operational needs into proper system configuration through collaboration with department stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and validate Epic Dorothy application configuration in alignment with organizational workflows and build standards
Partner with department representatives to analyze business and operational needs and implement approved system changes
Develop and maintain documentation, build trackers, and change control records in accordance with established naming and numbering conventions
Coordinate and participate in team meetings; provide regular status updates to the Lead Analyst, Project Manager, or IT Leadership as assigned
Collaborate with Principal Trainers to support the design of role-based training programs and assist with end-user training
Contribute to the development of testing scripts and perform unit, system, and integrated testing; document results appropriately
Review new releases and enhancements prior to production implementation
Support activation planning, go-live readiness activities, and provide on-site support during go-live and downtime events
Troubleshoot issues identified by team members and end-users and implement approved resolutions based on customer priorities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field - or equivalent education, training, and experience
3+ years of analytical support experience with the Epic Dorothy module in a large health system
Active Epic Dorothy certification required

Role will support Hospital at Home (HaH) initiative, leveraging:
Epic Dorothy (home health/hospice)
DOCO workflows
Scheduling functionality within Dorothy
Alignment with Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) program (already live)
Go-live for Hospital at Home is September 9, so there is an urgent need to hire quickly
This is a clinically focused role with strong emphasis on:
Workflow integration
Scheduling optimization
Cross-functional care coordination
Nice-to-have: exposure to billing/revenue workflows
Certification / Experience:
Dorothy is a new module at Grady, so no current team members are certified yet.
Ideal candidate profile:
Epic Ambulatory certified
Exposure to or pursuit of Healthy Planet certification
Already aligned with population health / ambulatory workflows

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
