Job Responsibilities:
Braze Integration & Instrumentation:
- Lead hands-on Braze SDK integration for Windows, desktop, and web platforms, specifically optimized for pre-install distribution models.
- Instrument custom events, user attributes, and session tracking via the Braze SDK using well-defined event schemas.
- Utilize the Braze REST API for server-side event ingestion and sophisticated user profile management.
- Develop dynamic content using Liquid scripting, APIs, and webhooks to drive hyper-personalization.
- Establish robust monitoring, alerting, and reporting within Braze to track system health and business performance.
CRM Platform Orchestration:
- Architect and build multi-channel customer journeys using Braze Canvas, ensuring proper frequency capping, quiet hours, and audience filtering.
- Configure and execute A/B and multivariate tests to validate message performance and optimize engagement.
- Implement Braze Connected Content to pull real-time data from external APIs into message templates for dynamic user experiences.
- Manage audience segmentation logic to power personalized, automated messaging triggers.
Data Engineering & Pipeline Management:
- Develop and maintain data models and ingestion processes to ensure a "Single Source of Truth."
- Utilize SQL within Databricks to build user segment tables and event schemas.
- Manage Reverse-ETL workflows via Hightouch to sync audiences and attributes from the data warehouse into Braze.
- Solve complex Identity Resolution challenges, linking device-level and account-level IDs to unified user profiles.
Must-Have Technical Skills:
- Braze Expertise: Deep experience with SDK integration, REST APIs, Canvas, and Liquid.
- Data Stack: Proficiency in SQL and experience with Databricks (or similar warehouses) and Hightouch (or similar CDPs).
- Engineering Mindset: Ability to translate marketing briefs into technical event specs and data contracts.
- Omnichannel Experience: Proven track record in managing push, email, and in-app messaging at scale.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with Databricks Delta Lake, notebooks, and scheduled jobs for automation.
- Experience migrating between CRM platforms (e.g., MoEngage to Braze).
- Understanding of software deployment models, including OEM partnerships and update-based messaging.
- Knowledge of privacy and consent frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA.
Education: Bachelor''s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Note: GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely, and the salary range will be $140,000/yr to $150,000/yr and reflects base salary only.
