SKILLS REQUIRED
Primary (Must-Have):
- Active WA Pharmacist license
- Order verification experience in Epic
- Final product verification experience
- Ability to answer clinical questions and provide drug information
- Experience overseeing pharmacy technician functions
- Experience with Code Blue / emergency response
Secondary (Good to Have):
- Direct inpatient pharmacy experience
- Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis
- Understanding of USP 797/800
- Experience supporting specialty/oncology infusion pharmacy
- Experience with after-hours outpatient dispensing
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacist for a 16-week contract assignment in Seattle, WA. This role supports inpatient pharmacy operations including order verification, final product checks, clinical drug information, technician oversight, and emergency response support. The ideal candidate will have inpatient pharmacy experience, strong knowledge of Epic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify medication orders in Epic
- Perform final product verification checks
- Answer clinical questions and provide drug information
- Oversee pharmacy technician functions
- Support Code Blue and emergency response needs
- Assist specialty/oncology infusion center operations
- Support after-hours outpatient dispensing with a limited formulary
SHIFT DETAILS
- Variable schedule due to 24/7/365 operations
- Mostly day/evening
- 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
