Job Description:
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end coordination and execution of the SAP HCM migration to the new datacenter. This role is accountable for driving the HCM workstream, ensuring cross-functional alignment, managing timelines and risks, and delivering clear communications to leadership and stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a detailed end-to-end project plan for the HCM SAP ECC datacenter move (tasks, dependencies, milestones, cutover, rollback).
Establish project governance including daily standups, weekly status meetings, and steering committee cadences.
Coordinate activities across IT infrastructure, SAP Basis, HCM functional teams (Payroll/Time/Benefits as applicable), security, networking, data center operations, and business stakeholders.
Ensure readiness across environments and downstream integrations impacted by relocation
Lead detailed cutover planning, including access readiness, freeze windows, validation steps, go/no-go checkpoints, and hypercare planning.
Track progress, remove blockers, and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for integration & regression testing, validation cycles, defect triage, and signoffs.
Maintain integrated test plans and ensure clear entry/exit criteria for each testing phase.
Provide clear, concise leadership updates (status, KPIs, risks, mitigation, decisions needed).
Produce weekly reporting and executive-ready materials for steering committees.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Project Manager leading complex infrastructure/application moves or datacenter migrations
Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations in a matrix environment.
Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
Strong organizational skills with disciplined execution, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.
Bilingual proficiency Spanish & English (spoken).Knowing Spanish will be an added advantage. However not a must.
Experience supporting SAP ECC programs, especially in an on-prem environment.
SAP ECC HCM / Payroll knowledge is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with SAP Basis coordination, integration touchpoints, and enterprise change/release processes.
