Electrical Superintendent

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee field operations, manage manpower, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity across multiple commercial job sites. This role acts as the on-site authority responsible for daily project execution, ensuring all electrical work is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of electrical codes, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee all field work and electrical installations across multiple job sites.
2. Manage manpower, tools, and equipment allocation to ensure efficient project execution.
3. Enforce safety policies and ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and jobsite standards.
4. Ensure all installations meet project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
5. Coordinate with Project Managers regarding schedules, materials, and workforce requirements.
6. Lead and mentor foremen and field crews, including conducting daily meetings and site briefings.
7. Track project progress and report field conditions, risks, and issues to management.
8. Maintain high productivity levels while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent OR minimum 8+ years as a Foreman on commercial electrical projects ($50K–$2.5M range).
• Extensive knowledge of NEC and NYC electrical codes, methods, and practices.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical system designs.
• Solid understanding of OSHA safety regulations in construction environments.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with project teams, vendors, and clients.
