Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Developer - ServiceNow for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position will have a leading role in transforming existing business capabilities to the ServiceNow platform by architecting and designing best-in-class solutions, and leading a development team during the implementation and support cycles. This role will focus primarily on the Enterprise Architecture module.
Responsibilities: - Lead the transformation of business capabilities by architecting and designing solutions on the ServiceNow platform
- Lead a development team during the implementation and support cycles
- Extend ServiceNow capabilities using JavaScript
- Leverage MID servers for integration and automation
- Load data from stand-alone systems into ServiceNow
- Pursue process improvements opportunities that reduce risk and improve quality
Requirements: - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and engineering, with a primary focus on the Enterprise Architecture module
- Current ServiceNow certifications for Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Experience as a lead engineer in highly regulated environments such as banking
- Experience with continuous integration between ServiceNow modules and integrated applications
- Experience leveraging MID servers for integration and automation
- Experience with loading data from stand-alone systems into ServiceNow
- Ability to extend ServiceNow capabilities using JavaScript
- Desire to create innovative technical solutions
- Unrelenting pursuit of process improvement opportunities that reduce risk and improve quality
Desired skills: - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and other Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Experience with test automation tools or frameworks
- Exposure to scripting or development beyond JavaScript (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
