Job Title: Scrum Master

Job Description
1. Champion and facilitate adoption of agile standards, tools, and best practices in a transitional environment.
2. Train, coach and facilitate team-level agile activities and ceremonies including daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint and PI planning, and product backlog refinement sessions. Facilitate meetings that are productive and within a timebox
3. Coordinate and facilitate coordination with other Scrum Masters (SMs), teams, etc. for shared ceremonies (e.g., Scrum of Scrums, PI Planning).
4. Utilize feedback and metrics (e.g., quality, delivery, cadence, etc.) to facilitate identifying areas of opportunity and improvement.
5. Coach the team(s) and other SMs to improve collaboration and self-management, promoting healthy interactions both within the team and with external stakeholders.
6.. Support and coach teams and ART in using agile planning and development tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
7. Mentor and coach others: Leadership, SMs, Product Owners, etc. Contribute to Communities of Practice (ex. SM COP), Agile CoE, and spread of agility across the enterprise.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Scaled Agile (SAFe) SM certification required (e.g. SSM), SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification preferred.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as a scrum master in an agile-at-scale environment or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Leadership coaching experience is a plus, experience with advanced metrics dashboards, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) company experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with advanced metrics dashboards, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) company experience preferred. Leadership coaching experience. Experience transitioning new agile teams, bridging waterfall and agile while bringing teams into new ways of working. Knowledge and experience applying Scaled Agile principles, practices, and techniques (e.g., SAFe, Scrum and Kanban) required.
- Coaching skills for new key roles and ability to motivate teams. Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with agile planning and development tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Experience with Agile-Hive preferred, JIRA
