What we're looking for
  • 8+ years in data engineering or data warehousing, with 4+ years of deep, hands-on Snowflake experience.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills, plus experience with tools like dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Matillion, or similar.
  • Proven track record building data platforms from the ground up, not just maintaining existing ones.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), data modeling (dimensional/Data Vault), and data governance.
  • Experience leading technical teams or acting as technical lead on client-facing projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging directly with C-suite and executive stakeholders.
  • Energy, power, or utilities industry experience is a strong plus.
  • Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core/Advanced) are a plus.

    What you'll do :
    Design and build a Snowflake data platform from scratch, including architecture, data modeling, security, and performance optimization.
    Develop and own ELT/ETL pipelines, integrations, and data ingestion from enterprise and operational source systems.
    Set technical standards and best practices, and lead and mentor developers on the project.
    Partner with business users to gather requirements and turn them into scalable data solutions.
    Present progress, architecture decisions, and value to senior leadership in plain, business-friendly language.
