Summary

Job Title: Change Management Consultant (Payroll Transformation)

REMOTE (Must work PST hours PST located preferred)

Duration:- 4+ months October through end of January (Initial), with expected extensions through 2028 across multiple project waves.

Target Start Date: October

Duration: 4--month contract with expected renewal of 1 year extension at beginning of year. (this is a 2-3 year project)

Info about the team: This role supports a finance organization undergoing a major systems transition. The consultant will be a dedicated change resource driving this transformation. The program involves Dayforce (working on them for training), Deloitte (systems integration partner and did the initial change impact assessment) and Backfill Consultant - Change Plan is already written so the person will come in and execute on the plan and work on a lot of training.

Internal Notes:

System Requirements: Transitioning from ADP to Dayforce. Dayforce experience is highly preferred. If they do not have Dayforce, they must have led other payroll/ERP implementations (like ADP).

Culture/Fit: The candidate MUST understand finance organizations-their lingo, their world, and their strict deadlines.

Location: PST preferred, but non-PST candidates are acceptable as long as they commit to working standard PST hours.

Required Skills:

Proven experience in change management within complex finance or HR systems implementations

Strong understanding of payroll processes and systems, preferably with Dayforce experience or extensive ERP/payroll implementation background (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday)

Demonstrated ability to execute change management plans, facilitate training sessions, and support organizational adoption

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills tailored to finance professionals

Ability to work independently and manage multiple project waves with strict deadlines

Nice to Have Skills:

Prior experience supporting system migrations involving Dayforce or similar payroll platforms

Knowledge of change impact assessments and transition planning

Familiarity with Deloitte or other consulting firms involved in system integrations

Certified change management practitioner (e.g., Prosci)

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field

5+ years of experience in change management or related roles within finance transformation projects

Other Requirements:

Location: Remote; candidates must work PST hours or be willing to accommodate PST schedule

This is a contract role expected to run initially from October through January, with potential extension through 2028 across multiple project phases

Ability to commit to working standard PST hours in a remote setting

Strong understanding of finance organization dynamics and a track record of meeting tight deadlines
