Pay Rate: $50 - $56Top Requirements:7+ years of software development and architecture experience.7+ years of Java/Spring experience.5+ years of UI development (Angular or React/Typescript).1+ years hands-on with GenAI development tools (GitHub Copilot/Coding Agent, Claude, Gemini Code Assist, Devin, Cursor).Strong full-stack skills: Java + UI (Angular or React/Typescript).Plusses:Strong Python experience.1+ years of AI Agent and MCP Server development.Job Summary:In this contingent role, the Software Engineer will contribute to moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives, including planning, analysis, and delivery of engineering solutions. The role requires evaluating variable technical factors, resolving moderately complex issues, and collaborating with internal client engineering teams. The engineer will support large-scale deliverables and ensure alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and compliance standards. This position also includes participation in a structured, multi-step interview process and may convert to a full-time role.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Consult on and participate in moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives and deliverables.
- Review and analyze engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to resolving moderately complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with internal Software Engineering teams and client personnel.
- Develop full-stack features using Java/Spring and Angular or React/Typescript.
- Use GenAI development tools such as GitHub Copilot/Coding Agent, Claude, Gemini Code Assist, Devin, or Cursor in daily development workflows.
- Engage in architecture and design discussions leveraging 7+ years of development and architecture experience.
- Optionally contribute to AI Agent and MCP Server development (nice to have).
- Interview process participation:
- Initial 15-minute video tech screening
- 30-60 minute panel tech interview
- Final on-site screening (15-30 minutes) at Charlotte, Dallas, or West Des Moines
